Windows Installer issue with Microsoft Office, but only for one user?

Hi,
I am having issues with the Windows Installer when I log into a network-affiliated computer. The Installer comes up every time I open an Office file (excel sheets, word documents, access databases..). After the installer runs, the program will open but the file itself will not. I can open the file by physically going into the “Open” function and opening it with the program on. Also, Microsoft Outlook does not open at all.

Strangely enough, my coworker logged onto the very same computer with her name, and she can open Outlook and Office files just fine, without any sign of Windows installer.

How do I fix this? Should I use the “system restore” option?

What are some of the most efficient ways to make money? How much money does the average 21 year old male have? What can i do to make more money without getting into anything illegal or having to wait decades to see any real serious results? Let me know, I am determined to make money i want to pay off my school tuition, i want to buy a nice car, and i want to start traveling. DTV Signals After Feb 2009?

In an attempt to set up my analog TV(s) for the upcoming switchover I have bought my alotment of A –> D converter boxes and a couple of new outdoor antennas.

I am trying to tune my antennas for best signal reception and have aimed them according to my street address and local NY metro broadcasters using antennaweb.org.

I still cannot reliably receive a couple of my major network affiliates, CBS, ABC AND most IMPORTANTLY PBS.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Come Feb 2009, will the broadcasters boost the power output of their digital signal? as they will no longer have to broadcast in analog?
2. Is there a NAB section where the NYC metro broadcasters publish their power output / transmitter locations so I can make sure to point the antenna(s) perfectly?
3. What other methods can I use on the receiving end to boost my digital signal received from a couple of outdoor antennas?

I am fiddling around NOW when the weather is GOOD.

Right now, I have digital cable and Roadrunner high-speed internet access from Time Warner. I don’t have any premium channels like HBO/Showtime/Cinemax, so I won’t miss those. I like all of the ESPN channels, A&E, HGTV, CNBC, MSNBC, FoxNews, CNN, HSN, QVC and others. I keep hearing about “content” that’s available through the set-top boxes like Roku, the Boxee Box, and also on Google TV. Is there a Lifehacker or Consumerist article out there that weighs exactly what I’d lose and gain from ditching my Digital Cable subscription? I like watching my local network affiliates. Would I have access to local newscasts any more with these devices? Would my bandwidth allowance be enough with Roadrunner to handle all of this streaming? I realize that appointment viewing is on the decline, and the idea is to watch what you want when you want. I just don’t know what to expect, when the rubber meets the road.
