Hi everyone, im thinking about starting a content based, affiliate marketing and ad space selling website business. while doing some research on this topic iv found some things im confused about and was wondering if you could help me out.

I was wondering what the advantages would be of me buying a actual website over simply opening up a word press website.

how important is search engine optimization for driving traffic toward my website/ word press

how much money will i need for start up?

should i make it a business (paperwork and what not) or is that not necessary?

is the auto responder programs all they are cracked up to be?

will i run into any problems because of my age (im 17)

It’s a formidable economic, social and demographic force, Idaho’s Latino population. So why isn’t a political force too? The state’s Latino population grew 5 percent last year. Three in 10 people in Minidoka County now are Latino. In Cassia, Gooding and Jerome counties, the ratio is one in four.

Latino buying power in Idaho soared 11.3 percent last year, faster than the purchasing power of Latinos nationwide and the state’s non-Latino population, according to a new report from the Selig Center for Economic Growth at the University of Georgia.

The largest ethnic minority in Idaho is spending 486 percent more on things like food, clothing, housing and vacations than in 1990. Latinos now account for a .3 billion share of the state’s total .9 billion purchasing strength, compared to 8 million 20 years ago.

State Farm Insurance and high-tech employers Micron Technology and Hewlett-Packard are among companies that have sought guidance from the Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs during the past five years while attempting to tap into the Latino market.

In Boise, a television station announced in January it would offer a new channel devoted solely to the region’s Latino community. KIVI-Channel 6, the ABC affiliate, launched Mexicanal, which features programming from central and southern Mexico.

And yet …

There are three Latinos in the Idaho Legislature, and not a single Latino county commissioner anywhere.

It’s not that Latinos aren’t rapidly integrating into Idaho society; it’s that they’re not the force of change non-Latinos often believe them to be.

IdahoLatinos tend to be socially conservative, and their political allegiances aren’t easy to peg.

Canyon County, the most Latino in Idaho, is among the most conservative in the state. Tiny Clark County in eastern Idaho, where Latinos make up 40 percent of the population, even more so.

Latinos who are not U.S. citizens don’t turn up at the polls, and there are relatively few Spanish-language media outlets.

So the more Idaho’s Latino population grows – and the more prosperous it becomes – the more Idaho Latinos become like other residents of the state.

There’s no doubt that more Latinos will become a greater part of the political conversation here in the Gem State. That’s a natural and positive progression that should be welcomed by all Idahoans.

I’m looking for a free game site affiliate program, like the one that uproar.com used to have. The affiliate program has to pay per free signup and accept new members from the USA, it has to that pay me for each new visitor I send them. I have alot of people coming to my site looking for game show games that they can play online.

How do I decline a job that they won’t let me decline?

I was recently hand picked for a job as a *VISTA for the Americorps Youth Venture program (affiliated with United Way). It sounded great…helping 12-20 year olds make a goal and achieve it. I’d be in charge of doing that for an entire community! That’s a lot of 12-20 year olds! I was ready to take this job until I found out that it pays 700 bucks a month and offers only catastrophic insurance…no preventative check ups with the doctor or dental cleanings. That didn’t seem so bad because I could get a job on the side and buy my own insurance, right? Wrong! They then told me that I could NOT have another job while being a *VISTA. I told them I didn’t want the job and now they want me to keep going with the interviews and see how I feel later. They keep reminding me of the networking benefits, etc. They simply won’t let me say no! I REALLY don’t want this job and there’s no changing my mind, so how do I tell them NO GET OFF MY BACK without sounding exaclty that rude?
It may sound crazy, but the networking benefits don’t really outweigh the fact that I’ll be in debt so deep by the time I’m done serving as a *VISTA. PLUS, I want to do nails…I don’t really need to network. I was told by the Vice-President of this organization that since this organization was actually started to help end poverty, they believe that the *VISTAs should live at poverty level. I’m a former college student! I know what living at poverty level is like and i don’t want to live at that level anymore! The whole reason I graduated is so that I could get a good job and NOT have to live like that anymore! My family, friends and I find it a little wired that they’re offering a job at poverty level. Well, there’s a lot to comprehend here, so PLEASE HELP!
The reason they gave em for not bein able to have a weekend job is “that I will have one foot in the college campus and one foot in the community so I need to be available to both at all times” STUPID!?
