Question regarding the health care debate- Is it impossible to make people care about other people in society?

The health care debate is a really good example of this. The reason why people are arguing over this is because they don’t want to pay for the health care of other citizens in society. They don’t want their taxes to go towards the health care of other people they don’t know. But other people say society cannot function unless there is a universal health care program that covers everyone. If the upper class donated a good portion of their profits to society, then there would be more than enough funds to go around for everyone in society. The wealth would be spread around freely. People would not have to worry about health care. But the problem is that many of them are not charitable (see my graph below). So then the government has to force them to pay up (taxes) and this angers many of them. But how can you make these people give a crap about other people? Is life just all about looking out for number one?

Do affiliate programs require debit and/or credit cards?

I have been seeing and hearing about affiliate programs all over the web lately and they all tell their ways of making money easy and quickly. What I want to is this: do these programs require a debit or credit card account? I’m not even in the U.S. Please clarify about this and how it all really works.
When I ask this question, I’m on the sense of joining one of these programs to make some extra cash just to pay the bills when needed. You never know when you will need to make some extra money.

I currently advertise my Global Domains (GDI) affiliate program with YouTube as my main source. I also use 3 software programs that I give away free to my downline including software to increase your youtube video views to whatever you want, advertise to thousands of cell phones by sending a small text message to their phone everyday for free, and an auto poster that posts a text ad you create to over 64,000 newsgroups automatically everyday with the click of a button. I have also used Google AdWords, and I give away in free adwords dollars to my downline when they join as well. Even though I use YouTube to advertise more than anything, and my software works incredibly for me and my downline, I’m wondering if anyone else has any advertising ideas? Please advise.

I started a website about 3 weeks ago and joined the CJ affiliate program. My site is basicly a huge online shopping mall and blog. What I don’t understand is I’m getting hits but no sales.
